Apple has finally unveiled its highly anticipated AirPods Pro with noise cancellation feature. What does the new audio accessory offer to all who want it? Here's a quick look at the new AirPods Pro truly wireless headphone's features.

After months of predictions and leaks, Apple finally revealed its new AirPods Pro – a pair of true wireless headphones that come in a design different from the AirPods and offering noise cancellation features. The Cupertino tech giant promises that this new audio accessory for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV is “Magic like you've never heard.”

Audio features

The AirPods Pro boasts of technologies designed to give users the best Apple audio experience yet. It offers active noise cancellation that uses an outward-facing microphone to detect outside noise, and an inner mic that listens to unwanted sound inside the ear, then cancels that with “anti-noise” so the user doesn't hear it. This process is done 200 times per second to ensure optimum sound.

It also has Adaptive EQ that, as per Apple, “automatically tunes music to the shape of your ear for a rich, consistent listening experience.” AnandTech noted that the Adaptive EQ automatically tunes low and mid frequencies based on the user's ear geometry. Coupled with noise cancel, this feature results in great sound quality.

Those who want to keep using the AirPods Pro while walking on the street, traveling or chatting with friends can take advantage of Transparency mode. This mode allows users to hear outside noises as if they aren't wearing the device.

Battery life

Apple promises that the AirPods Pro can last up to 4.5 hours in a single charge, with active noise cancellation or Transparency mode on. This can be extended up to 5 hours if both features are turned off.

Users will be able to enjoy up to 24 hours of listening time by charging the AirPods Pro inside the included wireless charging case, which is compatible with Qi-certified chargers. Also, the AirPods Pro charges relatively fast: a 5-minute charge inside the Wireless Charging Case gives up to 1 hour of listening time.

The AirPods Pro are rated IPX4 for sweat and water resistance, come with tapered silicone tips for a customized fit, and can easily connect to a variety of Apple devices.

The Airpods Pro will be released on Oct. 30 and will be sold for $249. Apple is now accepting pre-orders.
