Alec Baldwin's daughter Ireland has joined in on the trend surrounding the pop music track, "That’s Not My Name," by The Ting Tings. The 26-year-old shared her TikTok video of the trend, calling out media outlets for labeling her, Wednesday on her Instagram feed.

Baldwin wrote words on her video that people call her including "fat," "promiscuous," "thoughtless little pig," "attention seeking," "silver spoon fed brat w/ no real job," and followed it up with who she is and what she thinks of the labels: "my name is Ireland. I’m a writer. I think pigs are cute so jokes on you."

"I can’t even tell you how much time I’ve wasted worrying about headlines and comments," Ireland captioned the video. "Can you believe that? Can you believe how much control we give others and how much power we give their narratives."

The model admitted that others might not experience the same on a bigger scale like her but acknowledged how the majority of people get "called names and have had assumptions made" about them.

"I hardly read articles that come out about me in general but often times when I do, I’m always sexualized in someway or compared to my parents in another," she added. "Unfortunately, positivity and good news hardly sells."

Ireland slammed media by calling them a "giant garbage dump," adding she doesn't really care what they call her. She also reflected on her career and noted that her decision to work in the entertainment industry is going to bring "constant comparison" to the achievements of both her parents.

"But I am very excited to show you the individual that I am and the person I’ve grown to very proud of," she concluded. "I don’t give a f--k what you think about how I look, what I wear, what I think and say, and damn does it feel good to get to this point."

While Ireland's video said the names were what the "media likes to call me," she also seemed to take a dig at her father, who left a voicemail calling her a "rude, thoughtless little pig," after she failed to return his calls in 2007, when she was just 11 years old. At the time, Alec Baldwin was in the middle of a messy divorce with Ireland's mother, actress Kim Basinger.

On the work front, Ireland was last seen in a movie titled "A Dark Foe," which released in 2020. Alec Baldwin, on the other hand, will be next seen in the movies like "Supercell" and "Blue Before Blood."
