Alex Rodriguez is indeed a very supportive boyfriend. The former MLB player has not only expressed personal support for girlfriend Jennifer Lopez’s endeavors, but he’s also helping her promote her new single, “Ni Tu Ni Yo.”

On Wednesday, the athlete took to Instagram to upload a video he filmed of Lopez performing her new song in her living room. In the clip, the 47-year-old singer-actress goes all out as she sings her new music in front of her friends and family. The crowd watching the performance live could even be heard in the video yelling “sing” in Spanish to encourage J.Lo’s passionate number.

In his caption, Rodriguez poked fun at Lopez’s intense performance by writing “#lockerroommoment.” Nonetheless, the 41-year-old sports icon added a sweet gesture by promoting Lopez’s single to his followers and encouraged them to check out the song that’s already available on iTunes.

Lopez also uploaded a video clip from the private party on the Fourth of July to her Instagram account. The video appears to have been taken by a different person since Rodriguez could be seen standing next to Lopez and holding his phone to record the mini-concert.

This isn’t the first time that Rodriguez actually captured some moments of his girlfriend while she’s engrossed with her craft. Last Friday, A-Rod filmed Lopez while she was recording her Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular performance in New York City, as per Entertainment Tonight.

Lopez and Rodriguez have become inseparable since they went public with their romance. Just last Tuesday, the two celebrated Independence Day together and started the day by riding their bikes to the gym. Lopez even went live on Instagram to update her fans on their simple yet sweet activity as a couple.

Meanwhile, Lopez recently thanked her fans and ex-husband Marc Anthony who helped her work on her new album, which is the Hollywood star’s first Spanish-language record in years. The former couple tied the knot in 2004 and decided to split after a decade in 2014. Despite their divorce, they continue to be amicable as co-parents of twins Max and Emme, as per Daily Mail.
