Alexa Nikolas shared a tearful selfie after learning of her mention in Jamie Lynn Spears' upcoming memoir, "Things I Should Have Said," which Nikolas claimed is full of lies.

"This is what lying and bullying continues to do to others. I’ve been crying over here while taking care of my daughter and myself," the "Zoey 101" star wrote along with her tearful black and white selfie shared on Instagram over the weekend.

The 29-year-old actress further wrote that the reason behind sharing this selfie is, "I wanted to post this to show others that I know how it goes. One minute you are able to laugh it off and then the next moment you are crying endlessly about it."

"Especially as you keep getting triggered by more hurtful words revealed about you from the person who wounded you deeply as a child," she continued.

Nikolas noted that she wants to be tough, soft, move on and get over it, "but then you are quickly reminded once again that you are human and you have feelings. Healing is never linear. Even though you pray for it to be nightly. It’s hard."

The actress revealed that she read "more cruel lies" over the weekend that broke her down. "It’s not fair. It’s not just. I’m just here processing it all," she concluded.

Actor Bryant Wood took to the comments section and wrote, "Got your back. You are one of the best people I know." Many fans in the comments section wrote how "bullies never win" and encouraged her to be strong.

This is not the first time the actress has addressed her mention in the "Things I Should Have Said" memoir.

The actress took to Instagram on Jan. 13 to share a message, noting that a lot of fans messaged her regarding the book and she was "surprised" to see her former co-star Spears lying in it.

"@jamielynnspears forget all your crocodile tears and unfollow me. Ooh-ooh-ooh," she captioned the post at the time.

Nikolas' comments came after pages said to be from Spears' memoir surfaced online last week. In the pages, Spears is said to have claimed that she was never on the same page with Nikolas when they worked together on "Zoey 101."

On the work front, Nikolas was last seen in the TV series, "Mad Men," which was dropped in 2013. She also featured in "The Walking Dead" from 2012 to 2013. Spears' memoir, on the other hand, is slated to release this Tuesday.
