Amal and George Clooney went for a double date night along with Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber at the Sunset Tower Bar in Los Angeles on Friday. Rande is the Hollywood actor’s friend and business partner and they have their own tequila business with Mike Meldman.

The 54-year-old actor and his wife Amal visited the supermodel’s husband’s restaurant for an evening of drinks and dessert. Apart from being a double date night for the celebrity couple, they also celebrated Amal’s birthday that was on Wednesday.

They drank Casamigos tequila while Amal, George, Cindy and Rande bought the kitchen staff of the restaurant “bottle of Casamigos” instead of a “six pack of beer.” Meanwhile, the British attorney was dressed in a sleeveless black top and wore her signature red lipstick. Her long brunette tresses were left loose in curls.

George looked dapper in a black suit. His 53-year-old friend and entrepreneur opted for a black blazer paired with a gold necklace. Cindy looked stunning in a blue silk dress, which she paired with a delicate necklace, pink lipstick, brown eyeshadow and her brunette tresses let down in loose waves.

In an interview with The Telegraph in December 2015, Rande recounted how he and George wanted to be able to drink tequila all night long when they were setting up their homes in Mexico. He said that was how Casamigos started after he visited places for the “perfect recipe.”

The father-of-two remembered a hilarious situation when the distillery called up and asked them to get a licence as they could not call it samples anymore. The entrepreneur husband of Cindy said that the distillery told them: “For the past two years, we’ve sent you a thousand bottles a year. Either you're selling it, or you're drinking way too much,” he recounted.
