Mass weddings? Why do they do it?
It's supposed to be the biggest day of a woman's life, where she is the center of attention.
Still, somehow, women all over the world are opting for collective marriages.
Some analysts say that couples enjoy the solidarity of getting married with other couples, but others believe its an opportunity to have a large, expensive wedding for cheaper.
Many mass weddings are either subsidized by the government or the costs are shared by the newlyweds-to-be.

A mass wedding ceremony was held for 163 couples on Thursday on the ninth day of the ninth month in the 99th year since the beginning of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
