The Colorado Bureau of Investigation launched a search for the children, identified as Bailey Begay and Braidin Begay, after they were last seen in the Dolores area Thursday evening, ABQ Journal reported.

The suspect was identified as Brandon Begay, 35. Authorities said Brandon allegedly made threats of self-harm and had a weapon in his possession. The officials also added the children are likely to be in danger.

The kids reportedly went missing from their home located 15 miles north of Aneth.
