There is no bad blood between Amber Heard and Elon Musk.

On Monday, “The Rum Diary” star shared a snapshot of her on Instagram imitating Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” who was combing her hair with a fork. “Put a fork in it,” Heard, 31, wrote in the caption.

The Tesla CEO commented on his ex’s post with “V cute” along with a heart emoji, Entertainment Tonight reported. To make the matter clear, Musk, 46, commented again and explained his status with Heard after their split made headlines over the weekend.

“Btw, just to clear up some of the press storm this weekend,” Musk wrote (via ET). “Although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close and love one another. Long distance relationship when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds.”

Based on Musk’s comment they struggled with long distance relationship as both of them are busy with different commitments. “The timing wasn’t good for them,” an insider told Us Weekly about Musk and Heard’s split. “He’s super busy and works all the time. Amber is filming [Aquaman] in Australia until October. She’s in no position to settle with him. She feels her career is just starting.”

However, an insider suggested another side of the story. The SpaceX CEO was allegedly turned off with Heard’s attitude so, he broke up with her, which left “The Danish Girl” actress “devastated.” Also, the source said that the “Drive Angry” star and Musk split one week before their separation made headlines.

“He ended it a week ago. He’d heard certain things about her behaviour that didn’t sit well with him,” the source told Daily Mail. “Amber can be very manipulative and selfish. Elon’s back in LA while she’s licking her wounds in Australia.”

Heard and Musk kept their romance low-key. They first met in 2013 on the set of “Machete Kills.” However, they only began dating in 2016 after she filed a divorce from her estranged husband, Johnny Depp. Meanwhile, he also finalized his divorce from Talulah Riley in November of the same year, Us Weekly noted.

The pair didn’t immediately announce their relationship. In July 2016 there were rumors that they were dating after they were spotted leaving each other rooms at the Delano Hotel in Miami. Heard only confirmed their relationship last April in an Instagram post.
