The next-generation AMD processors may have been leaked online just days before the upcoming CES 2019.

Said leaked information comes from a Russian retail website E-Katalog, who has posted listings for the third-generation Ryzen processors. All of the next-generation processors are built upon AMD’s 7-nm Zen 2 architecture.

One-upping its current flagship processor, the Ryzen 9 3800X will be a 16-core, 32-thread powerhouse — that’s twice the cores of Ryzen 7 series.

Each core will run at a base frequency of 3.9GHz (4.7GHz when boosted). It also has a 125W TDP compared to Ryzen 7 2700X’s 95W, but that’s to be expected with double the number of cores.

Former flagship Ryzen 7 will feature two upcoming models, the 3700X and the 3700. Both processors will have 12 cores with 24 threads. The 3700X will run at 4.2GHz (up to 5 GHz when boosted) while the 3700 will run at 3.8 GHz (up to 4.6 GHz).

For its mid-range line, Ryzen 5 also had its cores increased from 6 cores with 12 threads to 8 cores with 16 threads. The 3600X will clock in at 4GHz with a 4.8GHz boost and a TDP of 95W. The 3600, on the other hand, will run at 3.6GHz up to 4.4GHz, with a TDP of 65W.

Lastly, AMD’s entry-level processors, Ryzen 3, runs with the same number of cores and threads as the previous generation’s Ryzen 5 at 6 cores and 12 threads, up from 4 cores and threads.

Ryzen 3 3300X apparently clocks in at 3.5GHz and with boosted speeds up to 4.3GHz. Meanwhile, the 3300 runs at 3.2GHz with a maximum frequency of 4GHz.

While AMD has said that its president and CEO Dr. Lisa Su will be hosting a keynote presentation to announce its upcoming slate of new hardware at CES 2019, the leaks provide an insight as to what we can expect from the company.

At CES 2019, AMD hopes to “catapult computing, gaming, and visualization technologies forward” through their upcoming line of computing hardware.

While Ryzen currently takes the spotlight of the leaks, a new Radeon graphics card or a next-generation Threadripper may also be announced alongside the new Ryzen series of processors.
