KEY POINTS

  • Amy Robach was photographed with her estranged husband Andrew Shue in New York City
  • The "GMA3" co-host handed off their family's pet dog to the "Melrose Place" actor
  • The estranged couple only had a brief chat before going in opposite directions

Amy Robach had a brief reunion with her estranged husband Andrew Shue amid her rumored affair with her "GMA3" co-anchor T.J. Holmes.

Robach, 49, and Shue, 55, were photographed during their meeting on the streets of New York City Friday morning. In the photos obtained by Page Six, the television reporter appeared downcast during a short but emotional exchange as she handed off their family dog to the actor.

The pair appeared to be deep in conversation during their sighting on a sidewalk at a Greenwich Village park. One snap showed the "Melrose Place" alum bending down to head-scratch their beloved pet Maltipoo, Brody, who is part of their shared custody arrangement.

Robach showed up to their reunion wearing a brown two-toned fleece track jacket, a pair of blue jeans and brown boots. Her estranged husband donned a gray light puffer jacket over a matching hoodie, black sweatpants and black sneakers with white detailing.

A video clip of the sighting exclusively released by Daily Mail showed the pair having a brief talk before breaking off and going in opposite directions. Shue took the Maltese-poodle mix, which has been part of their family since 2014, with him.

It was the first public meeting of the pair since news of Robach's alleged affair with Holmes, 45, surfaced last year. An unnamed source told People that Robach and Holmes had already split from their respective spouses before they started their romance.

However, when photos of them canoodling leaked last November, they were still technically married. Holmes has been married to his wife Marilee Fiebig since 2010. Robach tied the knot with Shue in the same year.

"[Andrew and his family] are distancing themselves from the situation [with Amy and T.J.]," an unnamed source previously told Us Weekly, adding that it would be "very surprising" if the actor were to address the affair publicly.

Page six reported in early December 2022 that Robach and Shue were already close to finalizing their divorce after he moved out over the summer.

Holmes filed for divorce from Fiebig earlier this month.

The news of Robach and Shue's reunion came a day after TV insiders claimed to Page Six that ABC has found Holmes' replacement on "GMA3" in DeMarco Morgan. The former New York local newsman will allegedly replace Holmes on the show once the network and the journalist have finalized his exit.

International Business Times could not independently verify the claims.
