iOS 5: Top Five Reasons Why You Should Jailbreak Your iPhone or iPad Reuters

Apple confirmed sales exceeding 4 million iPhone 4S since Friday, setting a new record for a product launch.

iPhone 4S is off to a great start, said Philip Schiller, senior VP for worldwide product marketing.

Additionally, the Cupertino, Calif.-based developer announced about 25 million customers had already begun to use iOS 5 in its first five days and 20 million had signed up for services from the iCloud.

The iPhone 4S introduction far outsold last year's introduction of the iPhone 4, when about 1.7 million units were sold in the first few days.

Apple is expected to report more details Tuesday, when it is scheduled to report fourth-quarter results. Shares were unchanged in early trading at $422.02.
