KEY POINTS

  • A new iPhone 12 concept video has surfaced
  • This concept video puts all kinds of features on a future iPhone
  • The features might not come in the next iPhone series

Apple fans just love Apple's products, especially iPhones. A quick look at various Apple forums reveal that fans want to see a lot of features and specs in future iPhone models. These include the addition of improved cameras, some new helpful features that will make using the handset easier and faster, as well as some design improvements that will make it look better than any other handset around.

A wild new concept video, created by Technizo Concept and posted on YouTube by ConceptsiPhone, reveals an “iPhone 12” model with a lot of features that many consumers just might not be able to see on a handset at any time in the near future. As iPhoneHacks puts it, it's a “crazy iPhone 12 concept that crams in as many features as one could think of.” Here's what the device features:

Display

First, there's a bezel-display. There's no notch on top, and the bottom bezel is also thin. Even more interesting is the fact that the bezel-less display on this concept device overflows to the sides. That's right – the display has no bezels on the left and right sides. Instead, the sides of the phone also act as screens capable of displaying app icons and other features.

Cameras

Next, at the back of the concept device rests a huge camera module housing a six-camera setup. This setup includes what appears to be a periscope-style camera (that has optical zoom capabilities), a Time of Flight sensor and a multi-LED flash. The camera module looks similar to the one on Samsung's Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Hologram

Here's an even more interesting feature: holograms. The concept video shows an iPhone with the ability to project holograms from the top of the device. As seen in the video, users can create a 3D image of something (like a person's face) and then create a hologram based on that image. The projector sits beside a small display that tells the time and has some icons on it.

The concept video shows a lot of interesting ideas when it comes to future iPhone iterations. That said, there's no guarantee that any of these will come on the upcoming iPhone 12 lineup.
