Apple Watch Price Cut By $300 On eBay

At a time when Apple is apparently working on the second-generation of Apple Watch, the first-generation Apple Watch has been significantly discounted on eBay.

EBay has listed the 42mm Stainless Steel variant of the Apple Watch for $479.99. The original price of this gear used to be $799. This means, buyers can save $319.01 with this offer, which translates to a cool discount of 39 percent.

As far as the specifications and features go, the Apple Watch comes with a 1.65-inch Retina display, aided by 390 x 312 pixels resolution. The screen is further protected by Sapphire crystal glass.

This smartwatch comes equipped with Force Touch or 3D Touch technology, in addition to supporting the traditional Capacitive touch. This gadget is IP X7 certified and hence, it can be dunked in water up to a depth of 1 meter and for 30 minutes.

Under the hood, the Apple Watch is powered by an Apple S1 chipset and the software end is taken care by watchOS 1.0, which is upgradable to version 2.1. This device is backed by 512 MB of RAM and it comes equipped with 8 GB of in-built storage space.

There is a non-removable Li-Ion 250 mAh battery to keep the lights on and this cell will apparently be able to provide up to 22 hours of mixed usage time. Apple Watch supports a slew of sensors, including Ambient light, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Heart Rate monitor. It can be paired with iOS devices using Bluetooth 4.0.

Speaking of second-generation Apple Watch, rumor has it that the upcoming device will come with incremental upgrades on board. This means, the Apple Watch 2 will have no revolutionary design change or over-the-top enhancements.
