Friendship goals! Ariana Grande just revealed on social media that she considers Nicki Minaj as her “sister” after hearing the news that their latest collaboration, “Side to Side,” just hit double platinum. Grande also wrote a heartfelt message for the “No Frauds” hitmaker.

On Thursday, Grande took to Instagram to post a picture of her kissing Minaj on the cheek following their performance at the 2016 American Music Awards last November. The throwback snap was accompanied by the “Scream Queens” star’s message to the rapper, thanking the latter for making “great records” with her.

“I miss you and love you,” Grande wrote in the caption. The singer then continued by telling Minaj that she’s a “gift” to her before adding that she’s most grateful for having found a “sister” and a “friend” in the Young Money artist.

Arianators were so pleased with Grande’s message for Minaj that they gave the young singer positive comments. One wrote: “This makes me sob … This is the most incredible thing ever. Congrats loves.” Another chimed in: “You’re legendary, beautiful and unbelievably talented human beings.”

Prior to Grande’s post, the RIAA Gold & Platinum Awards announced that “Side to Side” has become a certified double platinum in the U.S. This means the single has sold 2 million copies in the country, with each unit accounting to either one paid download or 150 streams.

The double platinum status is the latest entry in Minaj’s growing list of achievements. Queen Barbz was recently declared the female artist with the most Billboard Hot 100 songs. The recognition was given to her after her new tracks — “No Frauds,” “Changed It” and “Regrets In Your Tears” — topped the charts less than a day since their release.

Meanwhile, it’s no secret that Grande and Minaj are good friends. They have collaborated three times now: “Get On Your Knees” in 2014, “Bang Bang” with Jessie J in the same year and the smash hit “Side to Side.” Grande has also proven her loyalty to Minaj when she showed her support to the latter amid her highly publicized feud with Remy Ma.
