Asus is all set to launch the World’s first glasses-free 3D gaming laptops at Computex in Taipei this week, a report said.

The laptops, known as Asus Republic of Gamers G53SX, use a patented technology which enables it to transform 2D visuals into 3D.

The system uses a feature called ‘mixed mode’ which engages one window displaying a 2D image, game or video and another displaying the same image/video in 3D on-screen at the same time.

Asus' Republic of Gamers G53SX has an Intel Core i7 processor, GeForce 560M graphics chip and a Z68 motherboard.

Asus has not revealed the price or the date of the launch of the laptops, the Techradar website reported.
