“The Bachelor” trailer for Season 23 contains many dramatic moments, as most previews of the ABC series purposefully do, however, there is one scene, in particular, this season that is causing a buzz among fans.

Four episodes into the 2019 season, viewers have yet to see star Colton Underwood’s infamous fence jump. While the event has not yet occurred on the show, we have details on when fans can expect to see it and just what made the star Bachelor so upset.

In the season’s extended trailer (above) there is a quick shot of contestant Cassie Randolph sobbing in a confessional interview before Colton is shown crying and speaking to an unknown party.

“Every time I put myself out there I get [expletive] rejected,” he says. “I have sacrificed and given up everything to have my heart broken. I don’t know what the future holds for me.”

Colton is soon after shown walking away from the show’s host, Chris Harrison, and saying he is “done” before easily hopping over a large, white fence.

“We are out in the middle of nowhere,” Harrison, who runs after the show’s lead, tells the cameras. “He is gone. He is nowhere to be found.”

According to famed spoiler blogger Reality Steve, the fence jump will occur after Colton’s fantasy suite dates. After going on two of his overnight dates, he reportedly decides to forgo his third date to select Cassie as his winner. She, however, reportedly does not to feel the same and leaves the show. The blogger reports it is Cassie’s decision to quit that causes Colton to react.

On his overnight date with Cassie, what I was told was was that Cassie got cold feet, anxious, whatever you want to call it, and realized she wasn’t ready to be engaged yet. She told him this and essentially left the show. This supposedly is where Colton does his fence jump.

He obviously wasn’t happy since the woman he wanted didn’t want what he wanted. But I guess we’ll see if it plays out as actually the time where he jumps the fence. But Cassie did leave the show at that point during overnights and went back home.

If the blogger’s findings are correct, it would make perfect sense. Earlier in the trailer, Colton remarks it would be his nightmare to end the season without a proposal.

“There are people still here that aren’t ready and that’s terrifying. My greatest fear in all this is that I’m going to end up with somebody who is not here to be engaged at the end of this. I’m here to fall in love and get married. I’m not here to get to the end and be blindsided.”

Luckily for Colton, it appears all is well between him and Cassie now. It has been reported the two are not engaged but are still together.
