"The Bachelor" contestants Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Hannah Brown opened up about their feud on this week's episode of the ABC dating series, and during episode 3, viewers will learn more about their issues with one another. Luckily for fans of the series, we have some scoop on what went down between the two pageant queens prior to them both competing for Colton Underwood's heart.

On Monday's episode 3, Hannah B. and Caelynn will be paired on the same group date. During a pre-rose ceremony pool party, the women will "take turns trashing each other" to Colton "leaving him confused and conflicted," according to ABC's synopsis.

"It's not easy to see Caelynn with Colton. I'm going to let him know who she truly is," Hannah says in the preview. So what happened between the two contestants prior to "The Bachelor" to cause so much animosity?

Last fall, it was reported by spoiler blogger Reality Steve that two of Colton's contestants knew one another outside of the show with Caelynn being Miss North Carolina 2018 and the Miss USA 2018 runner-up. Hannah competed in the same competition as Miss Alabama 2018. At the time, the site reported the two were roommates during the competition and had the same directors. Photos of them together also appear to be friendly in nature and show the girls smiling.

In episode 2, Caelynn confirmed she was roommates with Hannah during the Miss USA competition. Caelynn also claimed Hannah was upset by her win. "Were not necessarily the best of friends," she said. "She was mad she didn't place. For sure there were a lot of hurt feelings. With Hannah, there's a facade and then it starts to crumble. Hannah kind of snapped, she flipped a switch."

In the same episode, Hannah made it clear to her competitors that she was not happy Caelynn was spending time with Colton. "If I start thinking about it I'll turn into a crazy woman," she told the cameras. "It's just so funny because there's not one person in the world that I have a problem with, except her."

Hannah added that she felt she had additional "insight" to what "type" of person Caelynn is and called her "fake."

Following the episode, Reality Steve sounded off on the feud and insinuated that Caelynn's comments about Hannah were different from what he's been told behind-the-scenes. "Whatever story she wants to go with to sell her narrative. As we know, there’s two sides to every story. Not at all what I heard. In fact, quite the opposite. But hey, let's let it play out and see what happens," the blogger wrote.

If Caelynn's win was what caused her rift with Hannah, it wouldn't be a surprise. In a May 2018 interview, Hannah admitted to struggling after failing multiple times to make it into the top 15 in the Miss Alabama pageant system.

"It was kind of discouraging. People always have an opinion about what you do, what you say, how you walk, how you dress. I took the wrong outlook on what pageantry should be – I thought my self-worth was through recognition," Brown told Alabama News Center.

She also revealed to the outlet that due to her anxiety and depression, she took some time off from the circuit. "In that moment, it is so hard to see joy in life. I can remember times where I didn't want to get up," Brown said.

Caelynn may not only have an enemy in Hannah. It has also been reported by Reality Steve that numerous members of the pageant community are upset with her for not attending the Miss North Carolina USA pageant in October where she was supposed to reign her successor.

"People in the pageant world are not happy... I saw the responses. I read the emails. I received DM's. This did not go over well at all in that world that she just randomly chose to be on a reality TV show over being there to crown her successor. She’s taking a TON of heat for it in that world which, let's be honest, is a big part of her life. Bachelor Nation probably doesn’t give a [expletive] she wasn’t there. But pageant world does, so just know that."
