Did “Bachelor” couple Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell break up? After cryptic tweets from the reality stars, sources are saying that the pair has called it quits.

Speculation about the “Bachelor” breakup sparked after Nikki, 27, posted an odd message on Instagram.

“Isn’t it pathetic how we waste so much time on certain people and in the end they prove that they weren’t even worth a second of it,” a photo that Nikki posted on Sunday read. The pediatric nurse and model added in the caption, “Nope not one single second.”

While the blonde beauty didn’t name her beau in the post, Juan Pablo, 33, shared an equally cryptic message on Twitter on Sunday.

“Sometimes you WIN, sometimes you LOSE … You will ALWAYS learn…,” Juan Pablo posted.

Sources told Us Weekly that the breakup wasn’t mutual. Nikki is said to be the one that ended the relationship.

Juan Pablo and Nikki have had a rocky relationship from the start. Although Nikki did win Season 18 of ABC’s “The Bachelor,” she didn’t exactly get her fairytale ending with the Venezuelan former soccer star. While viewers expected the single dad to propose to one of his two final ladies, Nikki Ferrell and Clare Crawley, Juan Pablo instead shocked fans when he chose to simply hand his final rose to Ferrell.

“Honestly, I have a ring here in my pocket and I’m not going to use it,” Juan Pablo said to Nikki during the season finale. “I like you a lot, a lot. So Nikki – will you accept my final rose?”

Nikki did accept the rose, and the pair maintained a relationship after filming ended. However it wasn’t easy. The couple received backlash from fans after their bizarre interview with “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison during the “After The Final Rose” special. Following the finale, the pair appeared on screen to discuss their relationship – but then refused to have a conversation with the host.

Juan Pablo would not say whether he was “in love” with Nikki or not, and told Harrison that they were “done with the show.”

“People don’t understand this is real life,” Juan Pablo said at the time. “We’re very happy we’re starting our relationship right now … we are done with the show, so done with the show.”

The pair kept a low profile until they joined VH1’s “Couples Therapy” this summer. The speculated breakup comes just a few weeks after Juan Pablo revealed to Access Hollywood that VH1’s reality series saved his relationship with Nikki. The former “Bachelor” star admitted that his relationship with Nikki had been a struggle since the show ended.

“We are so glad we did [‘Couples Therapy’],” he confessed to Access Hollywood. “I don’t think we’d be together right now if we hadn’t done it.”
