Eva Mendes has revealed that she couldn't stop gushing over the look of her husband, Ryan Gosling, as Ken in the new "Barbie" movie.

The 48-year-old actress talked about the first photo of Gosling in the role when she guested on "The Talk" Monday. "Well first of all, I saw the photo and the 14-year-old in me was like, 'Ahhh,'" Mendes said. "But you know, it's a funny photo and he's trying to be funny. So it worked on all levels."

Mendes went on to share that she asked the actor to send her the underwear he wore in the picture. "When I saw it, he sent it to me from work and I said, 'Can I please have that underwear? Please. I never ask for anything.' Anyways, I do have it. I'm wearing it right now," she explained. "There was something about the image that sparked my little teenage [self]."

During her appearance on the show, Mendes was also asked about the backlash Gosling received because of his bleach-blonde hair in the movie. "Yeah, well, people do know he's not playing a real person, right? He's playing a fake person," she responded.

Mendes shared a clip of the interview on her Instagram page Tuesday. Her caption read, "Talking about who I prefer to spend my nights with, and how my man started a new renaissance … a 'Kenaissance.'"

Fans and fellow celebs immediately took notice of her witty caption.

In the comments section, skin and beauty expert Nilam Holmes added laughing and love emojis and wrote, "Kenaissance," while Tom Hank's wife, Rita Wilson, simply dropped a laughing emoji. A fan then noted, "Btw your captions always make me smile."

Warner Bros. Pictures took to Twitter on June 15 to officially drop the first look at Gosling's Ken.

As for the first look at Barbie, portrayed by actress Margot Robbie, the studio released it in April.

The studio also announced that the flick will hit theaters on July 21, 2023.

Mendes and Gosling have been together since 2011. They share two kids: Esmeralda Amada, 7, and Amada Lee, 6.

On the work front, Mendes was last seen in the TV series "Bluey."
