Pop the champagne, because a celebration is in order! ABC’s “The Bachelor” has finally delivered a happy ending for everyone involved in the final rose ceremony.
Star Ben Higgins embarked on an emotional journey to meet his future wife, and found her in Season 20 contestant Lauren Bushnell. The two were able to go public with their relationship and engagement during Monday night’s finale of “The Bachelor,” and have been on a spree of interviews ever since. However, on Thursday Ben and Lauren were able to get a little peace and quiet to enjoy their official “first date.” Lauren took to Instagram to share a photo of their intimate outing.

Ben and Lauren went on plenty of dates on the reality show, and even stealthily met each other while the season was airing. But this marks their first date as an engaged couple who no longer has to be in hiding. And there will be plenty of more outings on the horizon for these two lovebirds because Lauren is preparing to move from Santa Monica, California, to Ben’s home in Denver, Colorado. She made the exciting announcement to “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison during the “After the Final Rose” special on Monday.

But Lauren and Ben aren’t the only ones starting an exciting journey together. Season 20 runner up, JoJo Fletcher, has started filming her season of “The Bachelorette.” Although she had her heart broken by Ben during the final rose ceremony, she’s giving love a second shot. Series creator Mike Fleiss revealed on Twitter Wednesday that JoJo already met the contestants fighting for her heart. She’s past the first rose ceremony, and is embarking on her first one-on-one date Friday.

“The Bachelorette,” starring JoJo, premieres on ABC on May 23 at 8 p.m. EDT.
