Cameron Diaz celebrated her birthday with much love from friends and family.

On Wednesday, Diaz turned 45. Her family, friends and husband, Benji Madden, exerted effort to make the day extra special for the "Annie" star. The Good Charlotte front man took to Instagram to pen a sweet tribute to the celebrant.

"Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Wife I feel like I am the LUCKIEST guy ALIVE," Madden wrote. "I don't think anyone could ever know the Depth, Kindness, and Compassion that I get to experience everyday thanks to My One and Only- You got me til the end baby."

Madden and Diaz tied the knot on Jan. 5, 2015 in a private and intimate wedding ceremony. The couple opted to have a low-key wedding.

"We got married in our living room in front of our friends," Diaz told Andy Cohen (via Hello! Magazine). "Had a little party in our backyard on the tennis court and yeah. Otherwise, it would have been something else."

On the same interview, the "Bad Teacher" star noted that she knew from the first time she saw Madden that he would be her husband. "It was one of those things where everyone tells you, 'You just know when you know.' I was like, 'What does that mean?' Oh, I get it. You just know when you know. Like you're my husband," Diaz explained.

The "Sex Tape" actress added that he found Madden "hot" when she met him for the first time. However, it took them time to meet each other as they were not in the same circle.

In June, Diaz opened up about her marriage and career and explained why she opted to have a break from the limelight. According to her, she needed to "make myself whole."

As for her marriage with Madden, the star noted that they are different, but they complement each other. "We are so different from one another, but we share the same values," she said (via Entertainment Tonight). "We're totally two peas in a pod. We are both just weird enough for each other."

Aside from Madden, Diaz's good friend, Gwyneth Paltrow, also send a sweet tribute to her. The "Avengers: Infinity War" star praised her humor, wisdom and cooking skills.
