Business magnate Bill Gates arrived in New York City on Thursday for his daughter Jennifer Gates’ wedding, which will be held Saturday.

The 65-year-old Microsoft founder was spotted getting down from a helicopter, accompanied by his friends and family.

A Twitter user shared the pictures of his arrival along with his daughter's photos as she left a salon after reportedly getting a manicure and pedicure, on the same day.

"Bill Gates flew into Manhattan by helicopter on Thursday, ahead of his daughter's wedding this weekend," the user captioned the photos. "Jennifer Gates leaves Salon M after getting a red manicure and pedicure as She was later seen returning to the Greenwich hotel to make preparations for her nuptials."

In the photos, the "How to Avoid a Climate Disaster" author was wearing blue jeans and a polo shirt with white buttons. He donned his signature eyewear and carried a brown leather bag on his way out.

His ex-wife, Melinda Gates, also arrived in the city on Monday in a helicopter, wearing a designer outfit.

Melinda, 57, filed for divorce in May 2021, and three months later, it was finalized. According to the divorce agreement, both parties won't pay any spousal support.

The former couple was married for 27 years. They got married in January 1994 and share three kids together: 25-year-old Jennifer, 22-year-old Rory, and 18-year-old Phoebe.

Following the divorce announcement, a source revealed their divorce news wasn't shocking as their relationship was not going smoothly for a long time.

"It's many years of differing views of the world, the foundation, and of life in general, and those things piling up," the source told People. "They are older and each personally looked at life and asked, 'Is there more out there than what I have?'"

Jennifer, on the other hand, is all set to start her married life with Egyptian equestrian Nayel Nassar. Jennifer and Nassar began dating in January 2017. In January 2020, the couple announced their engagement via Instagram.

"I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives learning, growing, laughing and loving together. Yes a million times over," she captioned the photo, at that time.
