The Blacklist
Liz (Megan Boone) will have to go on the run in episode 22 of "The Blacklist" Season 2. NBC

Episode 21 of “The Blacklist” Season 2 was not a fun one for Liz Keen (Megan Boone). The FBI agent spent the whole hour trying stop an assassin from killing a government official, only to find out that the Cabal had actually framed her for the murder of a senator. Now, Liz will have to go on the run in episode 22, “Masha Rostova,” while Red (James Spader) tries to clear her name.

According to the synopsis for the episode, Red will turn to his global network of underground connections to find a way to clear Liz’s name. Meanwhile, Liz will have to get of town fast -- but that might be a problem. The promo for the new episode shows Liz talking to Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) after she becomes the FBI’s most wanted fugitive. He seems to be debating whether or not to arrest his friend, while Liz tells him he needs to decide or get out of her way.

The synopsis also reveals some trouble within the FBI task force – aside from all the fuss about Liz. Cooper will apparently receive some shocking news as the task force struggles to decide who they can trust. Attorney General Tom Connolly (Reed Birney) has been manipulating the task force for weeks now by blackmailing Cooper. Will Cooper’s secrets be revealed?

However, the moment fans will be waiting for is teased in the promo when Liz tells Red that “she remembers everything.” Liz, of course, is referring to the night her mother was killed – a memory that Red hired someone to suppress years ago. What will she remember and how will it affect her already fragile relationship with Red?
