South Korean girl group Blackpink’s latest music video, "Ice Cream," reached a new milestone after successfully raking in over 100 million views on YouTube.

Blackpink released its highly anticipated collaboration with Selena Gomez, "Ice Cream," on Friday, Aug. 28. "Ice Cream" is the K-pop band’s second pre-release single for its upcoming album.

The lighthearted, adorable and upbeat music video hit 100 million views on YouTube approximately one day and 16 hours after its release. "Ice Cream" currently has over 131 million views as of writing.

YG Entertainment, Blackpink’s management company, recently took to its official Twitter account to celebrate the group’s latest achievement.

"#BLACKPINK 'Ice Cream (with @SelenaGomez)' M/V HITS 100 MILLION VIEWS @Youtube BLINKs worldwide, thank you so much!" the agency posted.

Meanwhile, Gomez recently released behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the "Ice Cream" music video, revealing that she did not shoot with the K-pop group.

"Wish you were there in person, @blackpinkofficial!" the singer wrote.

The group’s first pre-release single, "How You Like That," which was dropped June 26, reached the same milestone within 32 hours.

Including "Ice Cream," Blackpink currently has 10 music videos that have crossed the 100 million views mark on YouTube. Other songs that have this honor are "Playing with Fire," "As If It’s Your Last," "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "How You Like That," Jennie’s single "Solo," "Boombayah," "Whistle," "Stay" and "Kill This Love."

Recently, Blackpink’s hit single "How You Like That" grabbed the Song of Summer award at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards, which took place on Sunday.

The category for Song of Summer was based on fan votes on social media. This year, the voting took place on MTV’s Instagram Story.

This is Blackpink’s first win at the MTV VMAs.

Meanwhile, the fans are eagerly looking forward to Blackpink’s first full-length studio album, simply titled "The Album," which is scheduled to be released on Oct. 2.
