BLACKPINK reveals teaser clip for its upcoming collaboration single titled “Ice Cream” with Selena Gomez, American singer Ariana Grande reveals she took part in creating the song.

With the release date for BLACKPINK’s upcoming single in collaboration with Selena Gomez right around the corner, the band uploaded a video clip of the members talking to Selena Gomez via a video call on their official YouTube channel on Friday, Aug. 24.

In the video, Selena can be heard thanking the members for staying up despite the differences in their time zones.

Meanwhile, the members of BLACKPINK also expressed their excitement and gratitude towards the star in the adorable video call footage.

"We’re really glad that you’re on [the single], because, you know, we’ve been a big fan of yours for a long time," said Rosé.

Selena lovingly responded by saying "I’m so stoked. I’ve been a fan of you guys, and so this is a big, big dream for me, and I can’t wait."

Moreover, Ariana Grande also revealed that she had taken part in the creation of the upcoming collaboration single title "Ice Cream." Fans had been speculating about Grande’s involvement in the video as she had previously liked the K-pop band’s promotional posts on Instagram.

On Friday, Aug. 21, American record producer and songwriter, Tommy Brown, posted a promotional artwork for "Ice Cream" on Instagram with the caption "Produced and written by me and some of my awesome friends." He also tagged Grande and the American singer Victoria Monét in the post.

Ariana also shared Brown’s post on her Instagram page and tagged Gomez, Blackpink, Brown, Monet, and Mr. Franks in her posts.

"proud of the squad, and so excited for this!!! so much love for this team and these ladies!!!!," she captioned the post.
