Blackpink rapper-singer Jennie is officially Instagram’s new selfie queen.

Last Friday (May 1), the K-pop songstress stunned fans when she recently posted almost 60 selfie pictures on Instagram all in a span of 15 minutes. With a whopping 26 million followers, Jennie, 26, took to her Instagram account to share her series of photos showcasing different ways to style glasses.

Donning her set of voguish eyewear, the flood of pictures featured a collection that comes from the Blackpink member’s own line of glasses called Jentle Home, in collaboration with Korean luxury eyewear brand Gentle Monster. And besides Jennie’s successful K-pop career, the South Korean superstar’s business venture is deemed as her very own passion project, as per Forbes.

In each of the Jennie’s set of photos, the singer-rapper showed off a wide range of outfits to match with her eyewear collection. She started off with a rugged look, wearing a ruffled off-the-shoulder crop top, along with a pair of jeans all while flexing a tantalizing pose. This was then followed by a skintight leopard-printed dress with a silk-like texture that flawlessly highlighted Jennie’s shoulders. The K-pop star also sported an elegant cream-colored corporate wear which shows that her new eyewear line is fit for all types of ensembles.

Jennie’s string of alluring photos instantly spawned millions of likes where fans also expressed their admiration towards the K-pop icon’s selfies. On Twitter, one fan quipped, “u know ure ugly when u cant even post 1 selfie out of the 100 u took yet jennie be posting 59 selfies in 15 mins (sic).”

Another fan also suggested that Jennie should give online selfie lessons along with a comic post about Jennie’s selfies. “Seriously, can she give a selfie lesson over IG live? Yup, we need it lol,” the user wrote.

Another notable tweet from a fan said that the K-pop songstress ranked among the most trending people in South Korea. "Jennie Selfie is also rising in trends at number 26! This is most likely due to the fact that it's in morning right now, and it'll rise more as more people wake up! #JENNIE,” the user posted.

Jentle Home, in collaboration with Gentle Monster, presents a collection inspired by Jennie of Blackpink. The collection features chic and de rigueur items largely influenced by Jennie’s childhood memories curated into a nostalgic fantasy world of dollhouses and teddy bears.

The official debut of the Blackpink member’s fashion line was released last April 21 with items rapidly selling like hotcakes. The brand is also slated to open a dollhouse-themed pop-up store in Seoul this May, once the imposed community quarantine has been lifted.
