Blackpink's Rosé and Girl's Day's Hyeri, who are known for their friendship, have revealed that they also share a sisterly bond.

Rosé, who recently released a music video and solo album, made a guest appearance on the JTBC variety show "Ask Us Anything" on Saturday to promote her solo debut. Lee Hye-Ri, popularly known as Hyeri, also came on the show to support her friend.

Hyeri and Rosé are well known for openly supporting each other's activities. The South Korean idols often send coffee trucks to each other's sets while filming dramas or music videos.

While talking about their long-standing friendship, the duo said they frequently hang out, talk or go shopping together. They also share a passion for food and love trying out delicious dishes whenever they had the chance.

"Hyeri takes cares of me like a real older sister, and she's never gotten angry at me or made me uncomfortable, not even once," Rosé added, according to Soompi.

The "On The Ground" singer got emotional while thanking Hyeri for being with her during difficult times.

"I was going to go home after a meal, and Hyeri grabbed me and asked, 'Are you okay?' I was going through a hard time then. I didn't want to talk when I was going through such a rough time," she explained.

"But Hyeri unni told me it's better to talk than to hold it in, and she asked me what was going on. I sobbed and told her honestly what was happening. I felt so relieved. For a few months, I hadn't told anyone and was going through a hard time. I felt reassured because she asked me," she tearfully added.

"Rose's the type who tries not to show it when she's upset. She's the kind of person who's always patient and cries later on. I show everything. I wondered whether she could tell me what was wrong. I was thankful that she was able to tell me," said Hyeri.

The Korean-New Zealand singer made her debut as a member of Blackpink in 2016. Hyeri made her debut as the youngest member of Girl's Day in 2010.
