  • Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's concerts are forcing them to spend some time apart

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are reportedly spending time apart since they will be performing in different states on the same dates.

Even though the couple’s decision was mainly professional, a source claimed that Shelton and Stefani also realized that there was a need for them to be away from each other. “The Voice” coaches have been dating for four years, and this is the first time that they will be apart.

And with the distance between Shelton and Stefani, there are predictions that the couple could possibly face some tensions in their relationship. The source told Radar Online that the singers are already having some problems.

“They swear it’s something that will make them even closer, but Blake is already having issues at the thought of guys fawning all over Gwen when she performs sexy shows in Vegas,” the source said.

However, the claims made the unnamed source should be taken with a grain of salt. Firstly, Stefani has been canceling her shows due to an unknown illness. This means that Shelton doesn’t have to worry about his girlfriend’s sexy performances for at least a few more months.

And since Stefani is not performing, she would have to be away from her boyfriend. To prove that Stefani and Shelton’s relationship is still going strong, the country artist surprised the No Doubt singer with a bouquet of flowers on Valentine’s Day.

The “Hollaback Girl” singer loved the classic red roses that she received that she posted it on her Instagram Story alongside a video message for Shelton.

“Blakey, I got my Valentine’s flowers. They’re absolutely ridiculously beautiful. It’s weird because the color is not filming the way they are, they’re way darker red,” she said.

Stefani also shared the note that was included in Shelton’s surprise that read, “Happy Valentine’s Day! I love you so much. Blake.”

Shelton performed in Tacoma on Valentine’s Day but it is unclear if he met up with Stefani afterward.
