‘Blindspot’
Can Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Oliver (Jonathan Patrick Moore) ever trust each other in “Blindspot” Season 2, episode 17? NBC

Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) has more secrets that have yet to be exposed.

In “Blindspot” Season 2, episode 17, titled “Solos,” Jane and her new flame, Oliver (Jonathan Patrick Moore), will find themselves in a dangerous situation. The secrets that the two of them have been keeping from everyone will also be exposed. While in grave danger, Jane and Oliver will be saved by Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and his FBI team.

On Wednesday night’s episode, it was revealed that Jane and Oliver don’t really trust each other 100 pecent. The installment ended with the two of them being drugged. In episode 17, a shocking twist could be expected.

While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Martin Gero said that the person who drugged them is targeting Oliver and not Jane. “I think the twist there is – I will tease it out – not what it seems. There are layers of complexity to Oliver that we have yet to find. Jane’s initial reticence to maybe not trust him was probably right,” he said.

Meanwhile, Zapata (Audrey Esparza) and Reade (Rob Brown) will also face a huge problem. In episode 16, Zapata decided to tell Weller that Reade has a drug addiction. This shocking revelation is expected to shake the team up starting next Wednesday.

“It’s really rough on them. That’s a friendship that’s been tested a lot this year. Reade is in a really rough place. He’s definitely not going to be thrilled that Zapata has ratted him out,” Gero said. When asked what Weller will do, Gero said that the character will take matters into his own hands in episode 17.

“Blindspot” Season 2, episode 17 will air on NBC on March 29 at 8 p.m. EST.
