“Blindspot” Season 3 will continue to see Agent Patterson (Ashley Johnson) in its upcoming episodes.

Just recently, TV Line released a spoiler for the upcoming episodes and said that the cast of the hit NBC series went on a trip as part of their production for Season 3. But on top of this information, one fan commented on Patterson’s fate and said that Johnson herself confirmed that her character survived the events that took place in Season 2. Additionally, Johnson also got hair extensions for Patterson’s new look in the time jump.

In Season 2, the flash forward also showed Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) apologizing for everything that has happened. While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Martin Gero said that it’s possible Jane went AWOL on her team, and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) has wasted all of his time looking for her. “We’re going to get into that right away in the very first episode of Season 3, probably the opening moments of Season 3, so I don’t want to give too much away, but we’ll get there,” he said.

At the time, Gero also talked about Agents Patterson, Tasha (Audrey Esparza) and Reade (Rob Brown) being kidnapped in Season 2. Initially, they thought that Roman (Luke Mitchell) could be behind the incident. However, this doesn’t mean that the upcoming season’s big bad is really the one to be blamed.

“He’s a phenomenal character, played by Luke Mitchell, who is just a goddamn TV star, so we’re lucky to have him, and want to give him plenty of stuff to do next year, so Roman certainly is the main big bad of Season 3 – or so we would want you to think,” he said.

Blindspot” Season 3 will premiere on NBC on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. EST. As of late, it is still unclear how many episodes the latest installment of the series will have. What is also known is that this is the first time that “Blindspot” has been moved to a Friday schedule. Originally, the series aired on Wednesdays and was moved to Mondays during its second season.
