‘Blindspot’
Will Roman (Luke Mitchell) be ever be on Jane’s (Jaimie Alexander) side in “Blindspot” Season 3? NBC

“Blindspot” Season 3 will re-introduce Roman (Luke Mitchell) as the new big bad.

While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Martin Gero said that Roman still feels betrayed by Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and will not forgive her anytime soon. “There is no love lost. He feels very betrayed that she has essentially left him for the second time, chose someone else, so he’s pretty angry. But I think their relationship next year is super fascinating – and it’s been one of the highlights for me for Season 2. We’ve found a really, really interesting way to keep that going,” he said.

Gero also spoke with the same publication prior to Season 2 about how Roman and Shepherd’s (Michelle Hurd) new partnership will impact Jane and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton). According to him, Roman may have felt torn between Shepherd and Jane, but the fact that he chose the former meant he could be ready to burn bridges with Jane.

But when asked if Roman could have sided with Shepherd to stop her plan and help Jane and Kurt in the end, Gero said that that’s not possible. “I would not count on that. It’s like Jane and Oscar last year, but in a different way, where she had been building this amazing relationship with Oscar until she realized that he had been lying to her the whole time, so all the good that Jane did in the time where they were trying to repair his memory was undone by the fundamental lie she told,” he said.

In the last few episodes of “Blindspot” Season 2, Jane was also being ostracized by some of the characters because of how she acted while she was still involved with Sandstorm. Unfortunately, Jane hasn’t recovered all of her memories yet, but in Season 3, it’s possible that Jane will finally remember her involvement in the mysterious organization.

As of late, it is still unclear when “Blindspot” Season 3 will premiere on NBC this fall. What is only known is that the Alexander-starrer has been moved from Wednesday to Friday, but will retain its 8 p.m. EDT time slot.
