After his failed presidential campaign, Mike Bloomberg has set out to help Joe Biden win the election. Specifically, he aims to help the former Vice President win a key swing state: Florida.

The Sunshine State is expected to be one of the most expensive states to campaign in, Reuters reports. Florida holds 29 electoral votes, and it’s still anyone’s guess who will win.

“Mike Bloomberg is committed to helping defeat Trump, and that is going to happen in the battleground states,” Bloomberg adviser Kevin Sheekey said in a press release.

“Mike's substantial investment in Florida will allow Democrats and the Biden campaign to invest heavily in other key states like Pennsylvania, which will be critical to a Democratic victory,” he added. “And, this will force Republicans and the Trump campaign to shift even more of their limited resources to Florida.”

A recent poll of Florida from NBC News and Marist College revealed that President Donald Trump and Joe Biden are tied at 48% each among likely voters.

The Cook Political Report also predicts Florida as a “toss up” state, along with Georgia, North Carolina and Arizona. “This isn't to say that Biden can't win here. Or that Trump is certain to lose it. The race is simply too close to call,” the Report states.

Biden is set to visit Florida Tuesday, and he’ll likely try to focus on Hispanic voters. The poll showed that they are more likely to support Trump, and that could be because Trump has portrayed Biden as the next Fidel Castro, Slate reports. Claiming Biden is a communist has helped pull Latino voters to the right, even in more Democratic counties like Miami-Dade.
