She turned him down when he proposed to her again because she doesn’t know if they can make a marriage work for the third time. Now, as she considers giving Bill another shot, Katie will concoct a plan to test his loyalty to her on the Tuesday, May 14 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

After Bill (Don Diamont) surprised her with a proposal on the CBS soap, Katie (Heather Tom) decided to turn him down because she wasn’t willing to put their son, Will (Finnegan George) through them being married again since their first two attempts at marriage ended poorly. Since then, however, after encouragement from her sister, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Katie had considered that she and Bill could make things work this time, but she’s still hesitant because of their history, which has always seen him then take up with her sister. Now, as she tries to decide on what she wants for her future, Katie will come up with a plan to see if Bill really is a changed man when it comes to relationships.

“Brooke supports Katie as she asks Shauna for a huge favor with regard to Bill,” spoilers reveal.

Katie will ask Shauna (Denise Richards), who also has a past with Bill after the hooked up in Las Vegas years before, to test Bill’s loyalty and commitment to her by seeing if he takes the bait. Though she may be initially hesitant, Shauna could agree to the plot since she wants to stay in the Logan family’s good graces for Flo’s (Katrina Bowden) sake.

Of course, Katie could later regret what she’s doing, because if Bill does fall for the trap she’s laying out, it will once again lead to her having a broken heart. While her sister wouldn’t be the woman he abandoned her for this time around, it will still be hard for her if she realizes he took her no to the proposal as a literal no forever and moved on to someone else as a result.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
