He has been actively trying to find a way to split Liam and Hope up and put an end to their marriage, and now, as he continues his plan, Thomas may use his son to achieve his goal on the Friday, May 3 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) has decided since coming home from New York that he really never got over his past romance with Hope (Annika Noelle), and as a result, he wants her back for himself on the CBS soap. The timing has been perfect since his son, Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri). Needs a mother following Caroline’s (Linsey Godfrey) sudden death, and Hope needs a child since Beth’s death. However, her marriage to Liam (Scott Clifton) has stood in the way.

Now, after he successfully got Hope to convince Liam he needed to go visit Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Kelly and Phoebe in Paris, he has Hope in L.A. all alone. As a result, he may up his game in an effort to try and convince her that her marriage isn’t something she still wants, and the best place for her is to be with Thomas and Douglas.

“Thomas uses Douglas to try and win Hope over,” spoilers reveal.

Thomas already tried to appeal to Hope by using a drawing he claimed Douglas had made (when he was the true artist), and now, he may try to find a way to convince his son to take things one step further when it comes to convincing Hope she’d be a good mom for him.

However, even though Hope and Liam’s marriage has been strained since their daughter’s death, she may still be resistant to betraying her marriage—and his plans could quickly fall apart if he pushes too hard and too fast.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
