Apart from the standard editions, the Sony Xperia Z5 will reportedly be made available as a Bond-themed handset as well. Vodafone UK has apparently struck a deal with Sony to bring out this exclusive edition.

Vodafone UK’s “Bond edition of Sony Xperia Z5” will come with special content related to the upcoming move “Spectre.” The content ambit includes Bond themes, wallpapers, in addition to a behind-the-scene blog from “Miss Moneypenny.” This exclusive content can apparently be downloaded from Sony’s Xperia Lounge.

Starting Sept. 16, the Bond edition of Xperia Z5 can be preordered. Upon preordering the device, customers will reportedly become eligible to enter a lucky draw contest to win “one of 50 Aston Martin experience days.” By winning the contest, customers will get a chance to drive some of their iconic cars.

On the other hand, readers based out of the U.K. can purchase the Sony Xperia Z5 under one of Vodafone's Red 4 GB Value 4G plans to get a discount deal on the Sony AZ1VR Action Cam Mini. This device’s original price is 250 pounds ($385), however, with this exclusive offer in tow, the camera can be availed for only 49 pounds ($75.5). Potential buyers can head to Vodafone UK to check out the Bond edition of Xperia Z5.

The Sony Xperia Z5 comes with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display, aided by 1,080 x 1,920 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the handset comes powered by an octa-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 810) SoC and backed by a good 3 GB of RAM. Speaking of software, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop runs the show, out of the box.

When it comes to memory specification, the Xperia Z5 comes equipped with 32 GB of built-in storage capacity and microSD card slot for further expansion. Sony has housed an improved 23-megapixel rear-facing camera unit in the new device, with support for 4K video recording and an LED flash.

In addition, there is also a gracious 5.1-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies and video chats. Lastly, the device features a modest 2,900 mAh battery unit, which is apparently capable of providing up to 17 hours of 3G talk time and 540 hours of 3G stand-by time.
