The crash of Victor’s airship leads to Jigen and the other Kara Inners struggle to find another way to get back the Vessel. "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 181 kickstarts the new arc and the episode is titled "The Vessel."

The official preview trailer for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 181 teases Jigen sending a search party to recover the Vessel from the missing airship.

Meanwhile, Hidden Leaf sends Mugino and Konohamaru to investigate a suspicious crash near the border of the Land of Fire. The trailer shows Mugino and Konohamaru locating the airship. In the meantime, Jigen informs the other Kara Inners about the missing airship that contains the precious Vessel.

In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 181, Jigen notes that the time loss due to this mishap certainly falls within the expected margin of error.

However, the Vessel is important to fulfilling the cherished wish of the organization. Jigen orders the Kara Inners to recover the Vessel at all costs.

The promo trailer ends with a possible confrontation between a Kara Inner and Mugino and Konohamaru.

In the previous episode, fans learned about Mugino’s past. Turns out, the secret assassin struggles in his daily life. During the episode, Boruto helps Mugino and even pays for his lunch.

Later, Boruto visits Mugino’s humble abode overlooking the Hokage Rock. Mugino shares his story and tells Boruto that he owes his life to the Third Hokage – Hiruzen Sarutobi.

The episode goes into a flashback as Mugino remembers how he was once recruited to assassinate the Third Hokage. However, Hiruzen saved his life and gave him a purpose. Mugino trained hard to become what he is today.
