After Kawaki's awakening, Boruto and his friends are slowly figuring out the entire Vessel mystery in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 189. However, Konohamaru warns Boruto against taking any unnecessary risks.

Garo's arrival and attack on Kawaki toward the final moments of the previous episode suggest a fierce battle between the two warriors.

But as much as Boruto wants to help Kawaki fight against Garo, Konohamaru wants the former to stay back. In the preview trailer for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 189, Konohamaru feels that the situation is getting too complicated.

He suggests that Boruto be careful but the latter fears that Garo will take away Kawaki. Konohamaru tells him that the mission level has increased to an S-rank and that his top priority is protecting Team 7 and Katasuke.

In the last episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," Boruto and company find a mysterious boy lying unconscious next to several dismembered Puppets. Boruto feels that the boy might have taken care of the Puppets. Chamaru barks at the boy and Katasuke reveals that he is alive.

Boruto decides to help him out. Later, when Kawaki awakens, he remains hostile toward Boruto and the others.

Konohamaru reveals that they need to take him into custody by any means possible. Kawaki announces that he's ready to fight and take them out. Then Boruto decides to show him the symbol on his palm.

Kawaki is shocked to see the symbol and tells them it is called Karma. Meanwhile, Delta and Kashin Koji are closely watching the drama unfold from a distance.
