After the incident in the other dimension that almost resulted in the death of the Seventh Hokage, Kawaki is worried about his friends in Konohagakure in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 209. The new episode is titled "The Outcast."

The official promo trailer of Episode 209 shows Kawaki meeting Boruto's younger sister, Himawari. During the meeting, he finds Himawari acting strangely.

In Episode 208 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," Momoshiki Otsutsuki took over Boruto's consciousness. In his new form, Boruto attacked Boro who was shocked to see the emergence of an Otsutsuki inside the Seventh Hokage's son.

Boro and Boruto engaged in a fierce battle, while Sarada, Mitsuki and Kawaki were too shocked to react.

Boro was no match for Boruto's new form as the latter obliterated the Kara Inner using a massive Rasengan. As soon as Boro was defeated, Boruto returned to his old form but he didn't remember anything. Team 7 took Naruto back to Konohagakure.

The rest of the episode revolved around Kawaki, Sarada, Mitsuki and Naruto, who were recovering at the Leaf Hospital.

Kawaki was slowly getting closer to Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki. However, he felt his presence in the village was dangerous for the people.

Due to the Tokyo Olympics, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 209 might get delayed. TV Tokyo has listed Episode 209's telecast this Sunday as "subject to change." Crunchyroll is streaming the episodes.
