"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" welcomes 2021 with a brand-new arc titled the Vessel arc. The upcoming arc features some heavy-duty characters straight from the manga like Kawaki, Amado, Jigen, etc.

Twitter user Abdul Zoldyck tweeted the summary of the Vessel arc.

“The mysterious organization Kara, where Victor belongs, has been trying to complete the Vessel in order to achieve their long-wanted goal. However, with his own life at stake, Victor becomes impatient and plans to outsmart Jigen (the leader of Kara) and kidnaps the vessel. Meanwhile, Boruto has received a new mission and is now working with Katasuke. Boruto, who was disqualified from the chunin exam due to his unauthorized usage of a Scientific Ninja Tool, is still unable to forgive Katasuke,” the synopsis that Zoldyck tweeted, read.

The synopsis also reveals that after Konohamaru and Mugino learn about the crash of a mysterious airship, they rush to the crash site.

However, upon reaching the site, they go missing. Later, in the Vessel arc, Boruto encounters a boy named Kawaki. Interestingly, Kawaki and Boruto have the same mark on their palms. The arc is expected to unravel the mystery behind the strange mark and the identity of the vessel.

The synopsis for the Vessel arc teases Boruto engaging in a fierce battle as several mysteries unfold.

Meanwhile, Viz tweeted the official promo introducing the new Vessel arc. The first half of the trailer revolves around Boruto’s journey so far and the mysterious mark on his palm. The second-half shows Team 7 encountering Kawaki for the first time.

The new voice actors joining the series are Yūichi Nakamura as Koji Kashin, Yūma Uchida as Kawaki, Houko Kuwashima as Delta, Kenta Miyake as Boro, Akio Ohtsuka as Amado, Junta Terashima as Code and Kenjiro Tsuda as Jigen, Anime News Network reported.

The cast of the anime includes Yuuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki, Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasuke Uchiha, Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha, Ryuuichi Kijima as Mitsuki, Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, Akira Ishida as Gaara, Chiharu Sawashiro as Hiruga, Hidenori Takahashi as Konohamaru Sarutobi, Shoutarou Morikubo as Shikamaru Nara, Kunihiro Kawamoto as Omoi, Nana Mizuki as Hinata Hyuuga and Tetsuya Kakihara as Deepa.
