Braunwyn Windham-Burke shared that some of her and husband Sean Burke's children are still finding it difficult to accept their split.

While she couldn't be happier since publicly coming out as gay, the "Real Housewives of Orange County" alum, 44, admitted that her eldest daughter, Bella, still needs a little time to adjust to her parents dating other people.

"My oldest daughter, Bella, she's still struggling with it," the Bravo star told Us Weekly. "Not with the fact that I'm dating a woman, 'cause we are a very open family. You know, we've always been big supporters of the LGBTQ community, even before they could walk. We were going to marches in D.C. when they were in strollers. So that wasn't the issue."

According to Windham-Burke, Bella, 21, is having a "hard" time seeing her parents move on from their marriage, regardless of who they're dating. "She grew up with a certain family and, you know, that's close to her heart," the reality star explained.

Windham-Burke is currently in a relationship with Victoria Brito. The two were spotted kissing in Miami in December 2021. At the time, unnamed sources told the outlet that while their relationship was "still very new," they were "smitten by each other."

But while Bella is having a hard time accepting the changes in their family, her sister Rowan "loves" their mom's new partner.

"They get along great," Windham-Burke said. "Jacob is a 16-year-old boy. He's like, 'Whatever, I don't care.' And the little kids, you know, as far as they know, it's just more people that love them. And that's sort of how Sean and I have presented this to them. Our family isn't splitting up. Our family is growing."

The reality TV personality shares seven children — Bella, Rowan, 19, Jacob, twins Caden and Curren, 9, Koa, 7, and Hazel, 4 — with husband Sean, whom she wed in 2000. After two decades of marriage, Windham-Burke opened up about her sexuality in a December 2020 interview with GLAAD.

In July last year, Windham-Burke and Sean announced that they decided to temporarily separate.

The Bravo star, who was dating fellow "Real Housewives of Orange County" alum Fernanda Rocha at the time, said she would be moving to Hawaii with their kids for a few months, while Sean rents a place in Newport Beach, California, to "see what that’s like, living apart for a little while."

A few months later, Windham-Burke confirmed that she and Sean do not have plans to officially divorce.

"I don't think we're going to get divorced, honestly. I truly don't think we're going to. We get along great, we have an open marriage — it's working for us. We're happy," she told Us Weekly in September 2021. "We really are nailing the co-parenting thing. We are best friends. We've been together for 26 years."

Windham-Burke is gearing up to appear as grand marshal of the Orange County Pride Parade and Festival on June 25.
