Italian heiress Beatrice Borromeo married to her long time beau Pierre Casiraghi of Monaco in a custom Valentino gown. It was the second royal wedding this summer, the first being Prince Carl Philip of Sweden's marriage to Sofia Hellqvist in June. Royal watchers were keen to see what the 29-year-old bride would wear on her big day.

The stylish royal did not disappoint. Beatrice worked four different looks for the celebrations throughout the weekend, from a bespoke Valentino couture gown to a colorful tropical patterned dress. For the civil ceremony held at the Pink Place Salons, the former model turned to her home country for her dress.

Borromeo wore a pale pink Valentino gown for the occasion which featured gold lace detailing in silk chiffon. The Italian fashion house shared a photograph of the bride in her bridal finery along with her husband on Instagram. “The House of Valentino is pleased to announce that Beatrice Borromeo wore a Valentino Haute Couture dress designed by creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli,” the caption said.

Beatrice accessorized her gown with a floral headpiece, adding bohemian chic. Her brunette tresses were left loose and styled into tousled waves. Pierre wore a deep gray suit along with matching trousers, which he paired with a crisp white shirt, navy tie and pocket square.

Earlier in the day, Beatrice was seen driving to the palace along with Pierre in a white ensemble, which she paired with fingerless white crochet gloves, Hello reported. The bride’s hair was pulled back and styled into a braided up do.

For the evening celebrations held at Hotel de Paris, Beatrice changed into a show-stopping white gown by Valentino that featured a cloud pattern on the skirt. The talking point of her gown was the backless detailing that was held together with two thin transparent straps. Meanwhile, at a boat party on Sunday, the wife of the Monegasque royal wore a turquoise gown with a colorful tropical-themed pattern by designer Marta Ferri.
