Britney Spears' mom, Lynne Spears, congratulated her daughter on her wedding to Sam Asghari and sent her some love via social media despite not receiving an invitation to their nuptials.

Britney, 40, reportedly did not invite her parents Lynne and Jamie Spears and sister Jamie Lynn Spears when the pop superstar wed Asghari, 28, in an intimate ceremony at her home in Thousand Oaks, California, Thursday.

On Friday, Lynne, 67, reacted to her daughter's nuptials, leaving comments on Britney's Instagram post featuring photos from the ceremony, Page Six reported.

"You look radiant and so happy!" Lynne wrote. "Your wedding is the 'Dream' wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special! I am soooo happy for you! I love you!"

The pop icon and her family had a falling-out over her controversial conservatorship, which was terminated in November 2021 after nearly 14 years.

An unnamed insider told Page Six at the time that Lynne tried to reach out to Britney even before her conservatorship was terminated, but the "Toxic" singer declined to meet her mom.

"A few weeks before the conservatorship ended, Lynne flew to Los Angeles to try to reconnect with Britney," the source said. "But Britney didn't even let Lynne into her house. She is furious with her. Lynne tried over a number of days to try to visit, but Britney just shut her down."

Britney also previously expressed her dismay toward her mother in a since-deleted post on Instagram. The "Oops!...I Did It Again" hitmaker claimed it was Lynne who brought up the idea of conservatorship.

"My dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago ... but what people don't know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea!!!! I will never get those years back," she wrote, according to a screenshot obtained by Page Six. "She secretly ruined my life … and yes I will call her and [business manager] Lou Taylor out on it. So take your whole 'I have NO IDEA what's going on' attitude and go f–k yourself!!!! You know exactly what you did."

Britney's sons with her second ex-husband Kevin Federline — Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15 — were also not in attendance at the wedding. Federline's lawyer said in a statement that the teens "think the focus of this day should be on Britney and Sam, and they are very happy for her moving forward."

Meanwhile, the "Baby One More Time" singer's first ex-husband, Jason Alexander, attempted to crash her wedding Thursday. He was arrested and booked for battery, trespassing and refusing to leave private property, and vandalism, all of which are misdemeanors.

Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, confirmed to People that Alexander is "incarcerated" and is under an emergency protective order. He has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the singer, Asghari and her California estate.
