  • Roman Reigns is the current undisputed WWE and Universal Champion
  • Reigns suffered an injury during his fight against Brock Lesnar
  • A total of 4 stars suffered injuries at WrestleMania 38

Despite losing his WWE Championship to Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar subtly checked on his injured rival at WrestleMania 38 on Sunday.

In a ‘Title Vs Title’ fight, Reigns defeated Lesnar to become the undisputed WWE and Universal Champion. In the process, Reigns appeared to have suffered an injury.

The recently concluded WrestleMania 38 was believed to be one of the biggest seasons of the 'Show of Shows.' However, the fans were left unpleased with the rushed way in which Reigns won the fight with a Spear after just 12 minutes in the ring. The Tribal Chief’s arm was getting swollen during the match and it could indicate a torn muscle, Sportskeeda reported.

While there is no update on the extent of Reigns’ injury, a video went viral on social media, showing a glimpse of Lesnar checking on Reigns after their WrestleMania 38 showdown at AT&T Stadium, Texas.

The Beast Incarnate squeezed the champion's neck to enquire about his state. Reigns was seen saying something -- most likely a reply to Lesnar.

A total of 16 fights took place across the two WrestleMania 38 nights. While the odds of injuries happening were high, the WWE Company would be satisfied because only four wrestlers suffered injuries, including Reigns. The other three injured stars were AJ Styles, Bianca Belair and Rick Boogs.

Boogs perhaps suffered the biggest injury of WrestleMania 38. He and Shinsuke Nakamura went against The Usos in the first match of the two-night event in Arlington, Texas. After getting the hot tag and showing off his amazing strength with a squat suplex, on a second spot with Jimmy & Jey both on his shoulder, Boogs’ quad patella tendon tore. Boogs has confirmed he will undergo surgery, according to Cageside Seats.

While there have been doubts over Lesnar's future in the WWE Company, it has been reported that Lesnar will continue in the WWE as the Beast Incarnate is set to appear in WrestleMania Backlash and Money in the Bank Premium Live Events in May and July respectively.
