“Butter” (Holiday Remix) by BTS

“Christmas EveL” by Stray Kids

After winning their first Daesang (grand prize) for Performance of the Year at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards earlier this month, this fourth-generation boyband released their first Christmas album titled, “Christmas EveL” which contains a carrier single of the same name. The album features the band’s signature hip-hop style combined with witty songwriting.

“Snowy Night” by Billlie

This second single from Rookie girl group Billlie centers on one’s longing to experience a better Christmas than the one before. The seven-member girl group from Mystic Story Entertainment sings in typical K-pop sweetness, “ No different from yesterday/My Christmas became colder and more boring/I guess why to me why to me/Will it come a little differently? /Where are you Christmas?/on a white snowy night/I want to touch the moon and make eye contact/as if my heart is in it.”

“Christmas Tree” by V (from BTS)

While the band is on a holiday break, Kim Tae-Hyung, also known as V, surprised fans with the release of “Christmas Tree” as featured on the Korean drama, “Our Beloved Summer.” The sweet ballad officially arrives on streaming platforms on Dec. 24 and is the main theme of the Netflix drama starring V’s close friend, Choi Woo Shik.

“My My” by Purple Kiss

Purple Kiss' “My My” is a Christmas love song that speaks of the yearning to be loved. “My My” definitely expresses that with its lyrics, “My my wish list/Christmas wish/Your heart, your love/It’s you/wish list/How you feel/Tell me what you want for me.”

“Sweet Dream” by Tomorrow X Together (TXT)

This so-called leader of the fourth generation boybands in South Korea dropped "Sweet Dream" on Wednesday as a gift to their fans. TXT made a historic appearance on Billboard’s World Albums Chart this year with their album, "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" which was earlier hailed by Billboard as the longest-charting K-pop album of 2021 on Billboard 200.

“Christmas Miracle” by Lionesses

South Korea’s first LGBTQ K-pop group released a pop ballad celebrating love and equality for all genders.

The quartet debuted in November and released their first single, “Show Me Your Pride” which aims to inspire the LGBTQ as they brave hatred and homophobia. The lyrics of “Christmas Miracles,” portrays the members’ desire for same-sex relationships to be accepted in societies sans discrimination.
