BTS premiered "Fake Love" at the Billboard Music Awards in 2018 and became the first South Korean artist to perform at the American music award show. In 2019, the members returned to the stage to perform "Boy With Luv" along with American singer and songwriter Halsey, who featured in the song.

This year, the septet will be taking over the BBMA’s stage with another performance for the third year in a row.

BTS’ all-English hit single titled "Dynamite" was released on Aug. 21. The retro-themed single topped the Billboard Hot 100 list on Oct. 2 and is currently the No.1 song in the United States, as reported by Soompi.

Moreover, Billboard recently announced that the band had topped the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard Global 200, and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts simultaneously, making BTS the first-ever act to accomplish this feat.

The K-pop group has been nominated for two categories and will be competing for the "Top/Duo Group" and "Top Social Artist" awards at the 2020 Billboard Awards.

Following that, the K-pop band successfully bagged the "Top Social Artist" award in 2018 and 2019 as well. In 2019, BTS also became the first K-pop act to win the "Top Duo/Group" award.

Hence, BTS fans, the army, are eagerly looking forward to the 2020 Billboard Music Awards which is scheduled to air on Oct. 14.

Meanwhile, BTS confirmed that it will be releasing its upcoming album titled "Be" on Nov. 20.
