Two South Korean musical giants, BTS and TXT get the nod for this year’s People’s Choice Awards along with Netflix’s breakthrough hit, “Squid Game.”

Pop powerhouse BTS snatched four nominations this year: The Group of 2021, The Song of 2021 and Music Video of 2021 (for their hit song “Butter). Additionally, their collaborative project with British rock band Coldplay “My Universe” is also a contender for The Music Video of 2021.

Rookie boyband Tomorrow X Together or TXT, scored its first nomination in the award-giving body for The New Artist of 2021 and is facing off with music’s newest gems Bella Poarch, Olivia Rodrigo, The Kid Laroi, 24kGoldn, Tate McRae and Giveon.

Meanwhile, Netflix’s most-watched series “Squid Game” snagged a nomination for The Bingeworthy Show of 2021 and is going up against “Cobra Kai,” “Loki,” “Mare of Easttown,” “Outer Banks,” “Sex/Life,” “Ted Lasso,” and “The White Lotus" for the award.

Last year, BTS scooped four awards from People’s Choice Awards: The Group of 2020, The Song of 2020 (“Dynamite”), The Album of 2020 (“Map of the Soul: 7”) and The Music Video of 2020 (“Dynamite”).

The topics "BTS" and “Butter” trended on Twitter worldwide Thursday as fans rallied each other to vote for the septet and the said track which claimed Billboard’s 2021 Song of the Summer title earlier.

“So, voting has started. Let’s go armies. I voted #BUTTER for #TheMusicVideo on #PCAs 2021,” user @Jinonna0411 said.

Fans of TXT, known as MOA, also flooded Twitter with their messages encouraging each other to support their favorite group in the PCA.

“MOA vote for TXT on PCA! TXT being the only Korean artist in this category 4th gen leaders,” user TXTbestboyss said.

TXT, who debuted in 2019 under the same entertainment company that manages BTS, Big Hit Entertainment or Hybe, earlier took a spot at Billboard’s World Albums Chart and was hailed as the longest-charting K-Pop album of 2021. In September, the group’s second studio album, "The Chaos Chapter: Freeze" ruled on the Billboard 200 for 11 weeks and became the third K-Pop act to have done so following BTS and Blackpink.

Fans can cast their votes here until Nov. 17. The 2021 People’s Choice Awards will air live on E! and NBC on Dec. 7 at 9 p.m.
