Another royal couple will tie the knot after Princess Eugenie and Jack Brookbank’s nuptials.

Buckingham Palace just announced that Lady Gabriella Windsor, the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, will tie the knot to Thomas Kingston sometime next year. The royal couple just got engaged last month during their romantic getaway to the Channel Islands.

Kingston is a close friend of Prince William, and he is also the ex-boyfriend of Pippa Middleton, Prince William’s sister-in-law. Kingston and Middleton dated in 2011, and they remained friends after their split. Middleton tied the knot with James Matthews in 2017, and she even invited Kingston and Windsor to her special day.

Windsor is a senior director at Branding Latin America, a brand positioning platform that specializes in the region. She also works as a writer and contributor for the London Magazine.

“Prince and Princess Michael of Kent are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter Lady Gabriella Windsor to Mr. Thomas Kingston. The engagement took place in August; Mr. Kingston proposed on the Isle of Sark,” the statement from the palace read.

Prince Michael of Kent is the first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. Windsor is currently 50th in line to the throne. She previously made headlines after her ex-boyfriend, Aatish Taseer, exposed some scandalous tales about her royal life. He claimed that they did A-class drugs on the grounds of Windsor Castle and skinny-dipped in the Buckingham Palace swimming pool.

In related news, Princess Michael of Kent was dubbed as Princess Pushy because she wanted all of her kids to attain the highest possible education they could get.

“They’re good looking, they come from a good family, and they have good degrees from top universities. They are more educated than their cousins. No children in the royal family have got as good degrees as they’ve got,” she said during a 2006 interview.

Windsor and Kingston’s wedding will most likely take place in the spring.
