Candace Cameron Bure has broken her silence about JoJo Siwa's recent TikTok video that names her as the "rudest celebrity" she has ever met.

The 46-year-old actress took to Instagram Tuesday to share a video of herself discussing how she tried to reach out to the 19-year-old dancer, singer and YouTuber through mutual friends. She also shares in the clip that her publicist already got in touch with Siwa's manager to find out what really happened.

"I DM'd her because I didn't know what happened – I didn't know!" Bure can be heard saying in the clip. "So I was finally able to talk to JoJo this morning. I called her. And we had a great conversation. She was like, 'Hey, how you doin'?' I said, 'Well, I've been better, what happened?'"

According to Bure, Siwa told her she had no clue the video would go viral, and that she thought it was just a "silly TikTok trend." Although Siwa claimed she "didn't think it was a big deal," Bure said it "was a big deal." She also asked Siwa to let her know what exactly she did to her.

Bure clarified that could recall meeting Siwa at "The Kelly Clarkson Show" and both of them agreed that the said encounter went really well. However, Siwa said Bure refused to have a selfie with Siwa when she was attending the "Fuller House" premiere at the age of 11.

"She actually didn't want to tell me because she said it's so silly, she felt bad and that's why it just wasn't a big deal to her," Bure continued. "But then she said, 'I met you at the 'Fuller House' premiere when I was 11 years old, and we were on the red carpet."

"I had come up to you and said, 'Can I have a picture with you?' and you said to me, 'Not right now.' And then proceeded to do what you were doing and take pictures with other people on the red carpet,'" Bure quoted Siwa as saying.

Bure went on to share that after learning about the real reason behind Siwa's post, she apologized to the 19-year-old star who, in turn, said, "Yeah, no, no, no. You weren't even mean! And I get it now as an adult."

Siwa created a buzz Sunday when she posted a TikTok video claiming Bure is the "rudest celebrity" she has ever met. The video quickly spread online, even making it to other social media sites like Twitter.

On the work front, Bure was a regular on the TV series "Fuller House" from 2016 to 2020. She has been playing the titular role in the show "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries" since 2015. She plays Aurora Teagarden's character in the TV series, "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries" since 2015.

Siwa, on the other hand, has appeared in programs like "Dancing with the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance."
