Casey Anthony was released from jail at 12:09 a.m. Sunday, according to Christian Post. Television footage showed that Anthony walked out through the front entrance of the jail. It was previously thought that Anthony would use a special door in order to ensure her safety.

Authorities said this week that Casey would receive no special treatment or security and that her release would be treated like any other convict's.

The 25-year-old wore a pink shirt and a carefree expression on her face. The mass media waited outside of the jail Saturday in anticipation.

Casey Anthony was led by security to a car and was quickly driven away.

Casey will probably change her name, hair, and appearance in order to avoid media spotlight and death threats over the July 5 not guilty verdict. Security experts said that she will likely move to a remote area.

Anthony is facing a lawsuit from Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman Anthony said kidnapped her baby and Texas EquuSearch, the volunteer group that helped searched for Caylee after she disappeared. The group said it spent more than $112,000 to search for the little girl and that it is seeking damages in excess of $15,000.

Anthony's defense told the court that 62-year-old George Anthony, Casey's father, had sexually abused her since early childhood, enabling her to become a masterful liar. The defense also said that the little girl drowned in a swimming pool accident near the family home.

According to the Daily Mail, Los Angeles lawyer Mark Geragos, whose past clients include Winona Ryder, Michael Jackson, and Nicole Ritchie, said, She needs to lay as low as possible until the next big scandal or trial. He added, It's not time to do a photo spread. It's not time to sit down with Diane Sawyer. None of those things. There is no reason to do any of that.
