Cincinnati wide receiver Chad Ochocinco was widely ridiculed when he changed his name, but joke makers are going to have to find new material after today: he's changing his name again, if Twitter is to be believed.

The enigmatic wideout announced on Twitter today that he was not following in quarterback Carson Palmer's footsteps and seeking a trade or release from the team. Moreover, he believes that the team only needs a few minor adjustments to return to the playoff form that had many predicting a bright future for the Bengals.

However, Ochocinco's optimism notwithstanding, the big news from this Tweet is that Johnson appears to have decided to change his surname back to Johnson after legally changing his name to Chad Javon Ochocinco in August of 2008. Whether this is yet another stunt remains to be seen.
